This succulent type plant has remarkably large green teardrop shaped leaves that are thick and shiny and the flowers are non-descript spikes that protrude from between the stems.

The leaves store water and do well in medium to high humidity. Likes medium filtered light with a well-draining cactus soil and allow the soil to dry a little before watering from the bottom. Water with silky water in the early morning and don’t let the pot stand in water for longer than 15-20 minutes as this may cause root rot and leaves to droop. Propagation is done leading by placing a stem cutting in sphagnum moss or directly into the soil.
